I know that this isn’t traditional cosplay, as Steampunk is a lifestyle, but my friends and I love making outfits and prancing around in them. I love this blog and the positivity I get from it, because yes, sometimes it is hard to put so much work into sewing an ensemble knowing that there are going to be haters no matter how well it turns out.
My friends and I as Disney Steampunk at the 2012 Aetherfest
My group of friends and I put together a lightly steampunked Red Riding Hood trio for a convention back in January. Most of the costumes were handmade, and though you can’t see it, I had a tail. Next up for us is a steampunk circus theme and steampunk Disney (I’ll be the Maleficent to the earlier Ariel post)
Making a costume for a Steampunk Con, my friends and I are going as Steampunk Disney Princesses. Here I am as Ariel from The Little Mermaid.
Plus size Steampunk
